Taylor is a registered and licensed dietitian, specializing in wellness, sports and exercise nutrition.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences from Texas Christian University and Master's Degree in Clinical Nutrition from the University of Memphis.  Taylor has expertise in corporate wellness, specifically nutrition program development and implementation, cafeteria healthy option implementation and management, one-on-one nutrition counseling, and meal planning.  She writes pediatric sports nutrition pieces for organizations in the form of print material and website and blog content.  She also speaks at conferences and businesses in the DFW area on topics related to wellness and sports nutrition for both adults and children.

Taylor gained an interest in nutrition in high school when she began to competitively figure skate and run cross country, seeing food as a way to nourish and fuel the body.  She believes that food that fuels can also taste good.  This is important, not only for athletes, but also for active individuals.  She believes that no foods are off limits and that food should be something to enjoy that can also nourish and fuel the body.  She is a big believer that "healthy food" can taste delicious and loves proving that in the recipes she develops and the meals she serves to friends and family.
